A quick introductory hello

Thanks Sue for your kind introduction to the Black Belt world and thanks to Liam for your help in the handover. I'm really looking forward to working on the Black Belt programme. As Sue says, we've been looking for ways of working together for a while now. Sue has also been trying to get me to blog on several occasions so she's finally got her way and here I am.

As Sue and Liam have been compared to Richard and Judy and Phil and Kirstie, I'm starting to wonder who Sue and I will be compared to but will let the next group of Black Belters decide for us!

A bit about me. I live in Tunbridge Wells but travel all over with my work. My background is internal communications, working in house in financial services but I made the move to set up on my own back in March 2007. I am a communications consultant, trainer and coach. On the training side, I work with The Mind Gym and The Storytellers as well as others. I coach various clients ranging from teenagers to adults. These are generally people at a crossroads in their life, looking to increase their self-confidence or looking to change career.

Outside of work, I love putting the world to rights with friends and family over great food and wine, cooking, reading, having ridiculous conversations with my niece and nephew, discovering new music, going to the gym (love is not the word for the gym actually, it's a reluctant pastime) and travelling

I've been lucky enough to meet some great people along the way and look forward to meeting even more through Black Belt.

Sally
